Veneers
What is a Veneer?
A veneer is a thin moulding, custom-made from porcelain, which is bonded to the front surface of a tooth. Veneers are a quick and effective solution to stained, chipped, misshapen or crooked teeth. They can also be used to cover gaps in teeth where orthodontic treatment may not be suitable.
How are Veneers fitted?
To fit porcelain veneers, a dentist will first remove some enamel and take an impression of the teeth to create a mold. After this initial visit, they will send the mold to a laboratory that fabricates the custom-fit porcelain veneers.
Lori's Veneer Experience
As a child, Lori's orthodontic treatment didn't work out as planned and then she became a bruxxer (teeth grinder). Over years her teeth were ground flat, leaving her feeling embarrassed. Overcoming her anxiety, she asked Dr. Roberts to help her restore her confidence and smile with cosmetic veneers.
